Joe Headon explains... This page considers the visual impact. The first image is a computer generated wire frame. This crude but accurate image takes a level above the existing ground level and projects a line at the height. In this frame we have taken the worst case scenario which is a two story house (8.000m) high in the foreground. From the wireframe you can see that the historic Skyline is not impacted upon.

In order to demonstrate the relevant heights we have taken forklifts onto site and these were extended to various heights. We have then photographed these forklifts from two key view points which are the same view points as identified by Fife Councils own landscape consultant. Similar to the wire frame these images show that there is no impact on the historic skyline. < Back
